About Us

The pub is at the heart of the pretty village of Broad Hinton in Wiltshire and is situated in between two of Wiltshire's historic white horses at Hackpen and Broad Town.

Our garden also backs onto national walkways and bridle paths, if you fancy a rambling afternoon with refreshment at the start or finish!

The Crown is easily found, just a few miles outside Swindon on the main A4361 Swindon-Devizes road, SN4 9PA, with Avebury just a little bit further on.

The Crown Inn is owned by Arkell's Brewery, fine Wiltshire brewers since 1843, and who celebrated their 180th anniversary in 2023.
